i have got a blitz nur spec r exhaust, and my friend just brought a scoob with the same exhaust (both V reg/1999/2000)

but the bung on his nur spec is bigger bore than my nur spec bung.

so much so, my bung will fit inside his bung!!!

i.e on his car, it will be down pipe, centre section, nur spec, his bung, my bung. (wont bolt in)

so my question is did blitz make different bore sizes for the nur spec r exhaust bung?

there is one other difference that i found as well, on his, after the back box, you can see ring lines in the exhaust tube, where as on mine it is just smooth?


so whats it all about?

had a look on the blitz web site, and it says the ID bore on the bung it 60.5mm, i have just measured mine and it is 47-48mm ID.

anyone know why this is? any ideas? may be a fake??

I take it your know there is the 2.5" (Nur) and the 3" (Nur R) ?

 

?? never knew that. all ways thought they were one size

the one i brought said it was a 76mm bore, and that is 3inch.

yes i have the sur spec r, came with centre section and bung
