Default vf34 / vf35

my partner is going to upgrade his turbo hes been offered a vf35 second hand but at power station where he got his car mapped recomended the vf34 any1 know what the difference is thanks

VF34 = a little bit more power potential and spools up a little later
VF35 = a little bit less power potential but spools up a little earlier

That's about it, so it depends what your other half is aiming for.

at the moment he is running a straight through exhaust and power station remap on a td04 which does the 1/4 in 13.3, his looking for the best one to help him get into th 12's

I'd go with the VF 35 and some nice ported headers myself: leep those spool characteristics as favourable as possible.

I'm biased though: I have a VF35 set up.

cool ok then i have a 00 wrx import turbo i want to upgrade the turbo but mine is an auto it runs 15.1 on the 1/4 strip but i want to get into the mid

Sarah you could get away with a remap only for now. If upgrading your turbo, go for vf34/35 with remap.

i dunno i mean a choise between remap and turbo or just remap big dissions lol what would it run if i just got it remapped its quick anyway 4 me bit a bit quicker would be fun, i think its running 240bhp but not sure

I was told the difference is the VF34 has got bearings in and winds up with less friction than the VF35 - I wasalos recommended the VF34 - I'm getting one!
