Default ECU question?

Still having overfueling issues when at temp. The car is still in the garage and they are going to put some sort of ECU code reader duffer on it.

Parts replaced to date.

Plugs
Leads
Lambda
Temp Sensor
FPR
Fuel pump
Coolant temp sensor
Injectors

Now what if the ECU is wrong as my car appears to have been at a higher level of tune before I got it as you can see there was a boost gauge/controller t-pieced in at some point and a AFR splice off the old lambda. I know its a long shot but what if it had an aftermarket ECU that has been removed and any old unit put in when being taken back to standard?

So the question is what ECU should be in MY97 Type R? Not sure of the code thats in just now but can check on monday.

Would it even fire up on the wrong ecu?
