Default How can I tell....

...if my clutch is going...?

Just seemed like it took its time to release on a couple of gear changes tonight?

Take the car out. Drive it in fifth gear and floor the accelerator. If engine RPM rises but your speed doesn't then you have a worn clutch..

Longish hill, approach in a high gear, keep going. If the revs rise and speed doesn't then the clutch is slipping.

Another way to find out is put your handbrake on rev the car and lift the clutch. You should be able to tell from doing that.
