1. whats the main reason for it running out of puff? high temperature? and the obvious small size?

2. running a td04 at 1.25, can it damage the engine in anyway?

3. what is the safe maximum boost pressure recommended?

4. and whats this samco hose modification people do to the turbo's, somebody explain in detail?

AFAIK

1) Size: if you don't back off the boost at high rpm it just overheats

2) Not if mapped properly

3) I don't think many will map above 1.3 bar. Most folks I know with a TD04 and remap peak at 1.25/1.3bar

4) Samco turbo hoses: Better flow and stronger than OEM items, which sometimes split when asked to deal with increased boost.
