any body know what diffrent a decat front down pipe will make to my95 wrx import classic,

 

quicker spool up of the turbo and you can hear the recirc valve (if you have the standard 1 still fitted.

 

no ive got a bailey dump valve on it, will it pull any better, its been chiped front intercooler, apex induction kit, fuel rail mod, 255 fuel pump, td05 turbo, 2 1/2 from the down pipe stainless midddel and back box cant think what else ive done at the mo, but the gear box has got a gatter noise at 2500 rpm what could this be?

 

it will pull better as the flow of exhaust will be much better.
Not sure what a 'gatter noise' is though

What chip do you have?

 

not sure what type of chip it is as it was fitted when i got the car, its a push in type that goes stright into ecu with many leg so no telling,ive raced an evo fq320 and beet it so what power is i wouldnt have a clue, but it goes like stink havnt had an evo or scooby beet me yet but no dout i will, im thinking of fitting my down pipe then trying a turbonator or 2 or 3 what do you think to them???

 

Worth opening the ecu up to have a look at what the chip is.
The turbonator imo is a worthless piece of crap if it was worth it for the price they charge for it car manufacturers would fit them as standard.

 

hahaha I bought one of those for a laugh...what a waste of money. I could have made it myself in 5 minutes.

 

i dont think il waste my money then on them, il just keep looking for a gear box and rear diff, if i get time over the weekend i will have a look at chip, any body know what sort of job it is fitting a decat down pipe?
