Last night after meeting up with everyone for the Manx meet last night we decided to go the long way to the pub for our Scoobyfest meeting, and half way over the mountain my boost dropped off to 0.5-0.6 bar (normally 1.1) and would not boost over that, I had been giving it the beans. I pulled over and popped the bonnet but could not see anything out of place or hear anything out of the ordinary. I carried on down the road at a sensible pace, still and about 20 mins down the road I thought I would try the boost again, put my foot down and it boosted to 1.1 bar and has done since.

Any ideas why this would happen? does the standard ECU have a safe mode that would trigger if you are driving the car quite hard? is it a sign of something on its way out? or have I nothing to worry about?
