Vibration and Rear Diff?
Hi all!
New here , bought a 98 turbo wagon about a month ago - facelift one. It has a vibration under acceleration. Feels like something unbalanced, I have had the wheels balanced but this has made no difference. It doesn't come through the steering wheel its like the whole car is vibrating. My rear diff is slightly noisy but I don't think this should cause the vibrations. Would an unbalanced prop shaft cause it and how would I know?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I have seached the forum but can't find a similar vibration, lots of unbalanced wheels and warped disks but its not that as its fine under braking!
Only mods to the car are prodrive exhaust and K&N filter.
Any advice on where to buy rear diff would be good too and what ratio I need - want to keep it standard. I will be fitting it myself.
Cheers
Ems
