Has anyone had a "Racebox" fitted on a newage from Scoobyworld. It is a more subtle 3.5 Inch backbox wondering whether it was pretty good.

I had one on MY99 Classic, it's an excellent exhaust, really well made with a deep bassy note

Is it much louder than a Prodrive one. I have a newage with PPP and the Prodrive backbox is just a little quiet for me.

I have one on my 02 STi newage - it gives a good noise. I think its a little louder than the prodrive box, particularly on power, but is quiet enough on a run in the cabin.

I'll be selling mine in the next 2-3 weeks, as I'm converting to 3". Its been on the car for a little under a year and is in great condition - let me know if you're interested !

Had a Racebox on my MY99 classic, very nice exhaust (although its currently for sale).

I found and fitted a Prodrive backbox as I wanted the note to be slightly quieter and I'm trying to stick to mostly stock/Prodrive parts.

As for the Racebox though, lovely made, quality is fantastic! I've never seen a nicer finish on a large stainless steel item. Noise on tickover is truely lovely and its never overly loud in the cabin during cruising. Acceleration sounds very powerful though (certainly a nicer acceleration noise than my Prodrive backbox).
