could any1 help me iv got a impreza wagon uk 2000 turbo an when i drive it in 1st and 2nd at 3000 rpm thers a slight nockin noise but the car hasnt lost any power an stil drives like normal does any1 know wot it could be

 

ls this when the engines still cold? the reason l ask is that my 99 wagon does this its caused by piston slap and isnt anything to worry about. lf knocking when hot l would be more concerned.
