there not to bad to do , just very messy ! remove wheel , undo center hub nut (30mm i think) undo lower swivel nut and split joint , pull hb out the way whilst removing the joint from the hub , knock joint of with big hammer (cant remember if you need circlip pliers) remove gaitor and replace with new one then put it all back together ! or pay a garage about £70 to do it for you ! i done mine on a ramp and removed the drive shaft (dowel pin inner joint) and done it in the vise !

yea do what he said above, or do it the easy way, remove INNER joint from the gearbox by knocking out the pin and pulling the boot up the shaft to the outside
good quality cv boot works wonders as they are more flexible
