Has anyone done a impreza sti motor conversion into an forester? i have acquire a 02 sti jdm halfcut and would like to transfer evrything into an 05 forester. Are these straight bolt on or would there be any conversion that may be needed? Hope to get professional advise from this thread thanks guys

I don't know about the 2.0 ones, but the 2.5 Foresters are the same engine as the US STi, the differences are the intercooler, turbo and engine management. Which 05 model of Forester is it, and what are you hoping to achieve from the change ?

 

just wana drop the whole engine and under chassis of the sti impreza into an 05 forester. Would i need to modify anything like the propeller shaft?
