If you are using the standard heads, or heads from that year a version 8 manifold will not fit. You are limited to manifolds from MY92 to MY98, i.e phase 1 or 1.5. Anything past that will not simply bolt on, different bolt pattern.

No it just reduces lag very minimally.
If you have air con this will be lost as your alternator needs to be relocated and also your power steering res might need modifying depending on the set up.
The early phase 1 manifolds will foul the bonnet once reversed so you will need to have a wedge made to reposition the TB also the Icv may foul the bonnet. IMO if you are reversing the phase 1 manifold, its best left in its original position and better of having the existing Tb welded to the front side and the existing entry plated this way works best and everything clears the bonnet.
If you are using the later phase 1.5 version 3 manifold the same as the sti 3 this can be rotated much easier all that is needed is the grinding of the dowels on the underside and no work to the TB or the ICV but you will still have to relocate the alternator etc.
