Default STI Type R V6 block vs STI V5 block / Rebuild / No compression

Hi

Does anyone know the difference is between a sit type r V6 short block and a sti v5 block?

Will there be any performance loss or gain from fitting a V5 sti block on a V6 STI type r.

Reason am asking is the engines been rebuilt by Scooby clinic after a rod 3 went thru the block was rebuilt using a V5 STI short block. (FULL RECON UNIT)

Cost 3920.00

Cars driven at most 2k very steady miles since rebuild also had an oil change after first 500 miles so its not been abused since rebuild it cut out on the road doing about 30-40 MPH and now its not starting up unless I give it gas and then cutting out on idle unless giving more gas.

Had someone look at it Richard henry Bradford who were really helpful they told me cylinder number 2, 4 are not firing also cylinder number 4 isn’t holding any compression.

What should I do next anyone recommend anything.

Am abit of a Scooby n00b

Contact Scooby Clinic who strike me as a good company, and see what they say to you.
Be polite and helpful, and I'm sure they will do their best.
Good luck.
