Squealing driving me crazy

Default Squealing driving me crazy

i have just noticed i have squealing coming from the car at low speed not sure if its front wheels or rear as it only happens when driving....its driving me crazy......not sure if its brakes or bushes or what it can be.....

any help greatly appreciated....

If it's from the rear, it could be the handbrake sticking (separate shoe from rear discs). I used to find that a quick tug on the handbrake while rolling would stop it

It's usually a build up of brake dust on the calliper preventing the pads from returning correctly, take the wheels off, brake pads out clean the back and sides of the pads and the callipers with either brake cleaner or a little wire brush, grease the sides with copperslip making sure you dont get any near the pad material or brake disc and re-fit.

Does it sqeal whilst braking or does braking stop the sqeal ??
If neither of the above, I would say it's not brake related ..

Then your looking at Worn or out of adjustment Fan belt Etc ..

Ditch the wife! Seriously it may be the backing plate catching the front disk.
