Default help leaking fluid

power steering fluid leaking around pump taken res off cheaked o ring seems ok also the pipe on the side looks pretty new any ideas???1995 impreza sti.

new pumps are very expensive. 450EURO here in Ireland then add labour on top of that to fit it.

I had to get one last January. It was a second hand one for 125EURO. Like you I had a leak...the pump ran dry and mashed itself to pieces.

when topped up pump works fine untill next morning when res is empty

Not ideal, but you could put some stop leak in the reservoir, sells on ebay and isnt expensive.
