wrx bug eye

his car is standard apart from a full decat.

Fault code p0420 cat converter system below threshold.

Is this issue due to the fact he has deccated the car?

if he has no cats i can imagen the cat is working below threshold

best way of getting rid is to get a remap or you can buy a "cel fix" but heard they are not up to the job

 

Ah i take it its the cu complaining thers no cat then.

id look at going remap

might be £600 ish but with a decat its been known for the turbo to spin up a bit to quickly and over boost not always but can happen - also garanteed fix which the cell fix isn't

just put up with the cell untill then, serious problems normally cause the cel to flash
