had a problem with my box sticking in reverse and struggling to go into 5th first attempt

I've taken center diff off but the big nut hasn't move and everything looks fine, I was just wondering if it is obvious to look at when the 'big nut' come loose?

I think I'll split the rest of the box to see if there is anything obvious,

any tips anyone
