Groaning rear brake
I have noticed that once I have driven for a few miles, after stopping at traffic lights and pulling away gently, I get a groaning noise from the rear N/S wheel.
Im assuming this is the brakes for some reason. It does not seem to hold back, car rolls freely on gentle hills.
On driving with the stereo off and off the pedal I can hear an occasional squeek too.
Any suggestions on what to look at first. I am looking to change discs and pads all round anyway, as they are at 60k, and I have not changed them since buying in Jan (im fussy like that)
Are the calipers known to bind? Or any other suggestions please guys.

Had a problem on my classic that was similar - Shoe was sticking from the handbrake - got the dealer to change the shoes and inner 'guts' - problem solved - was worse when it was wet for some reason
Classics have a drum inside the disk for the handbrake - Not sure whats on the bugeye but if its drum for the HB then could be worth a look

More than likely just the pads (wear tab on one side) and the discs (large lip and no doubt rusted to hell).
Changing mine got rid of the groaning.
PS there was no need to change the handbrakes shoes, plenty of life on them
Cheers,
Charlie
