Default Dont buy from this ebay user FMIC

FMIC from Ebay.

What a treat ive had today.... and yesterday fiiting it.

1st found out that there wasnt any flange at all for a dump valve, So i called the bloke he said "yeah there isnt any, people havce to get them welded on, So i said ok, Wa sa tadge Pissed off but went to AAS at Newburn, and they welded me one on cost me £10, all fine and dandy....

Came to fir the kit and there is a pipe missing, i was fuming!!! So i Called him again and her replys " Oh yeah ive had a few people tell me this" i was like well dont you think you shoudl check them first his reply was " Well i know but i cant get the pipes" Well Should stop sellign them, Any waysi managed to get a pipe to fit and all was ok, We have all the bits needed Phew, Or So i though..

The Silicoln Hoses are too small for the Pipe work, Manage dto get them over but its a squeese, The Clips dont fi over the silicoln Pipes.

Purchased 20 Jubs for £7.00.

Came to put the bugger on and managed to get the intercooler on fine cut the front mounted etc etc, and the pipes are too short, ive had to cut pipes and use silcon to make them slightly longer, Need three more bits of pipe tomorrow then that will be the pipe work done, What a Ball Ache and sick as sh*t.
I think the bumper is not too hard to refit, im sure im going to have to loose the fog lights..... Any one? look at the pipe work

Isn't that core too tall for a newage bumper ? will it not block off the top few inches ?

eeek ! Normally the newage cores are longer and not so tall in order to fit the opening in the bumper.

I think he may have to cut and modify his bumper like Davis Wallis did to his car..

It's a universal intercooler, no way is it designed for the blobeye. I reckon with all them bends and lengthy pipework the top mount intercooler will probably be more effective, Personally I would try an sell this kit and get one more car specific, Aps or Perrin.

not just the pipes and bends, read several articles bout these ebay intercoolers and feedback on resulting temps. is not gud at all. in fact they suggest that the standard tmic performs just as well, sorry to further dampning on wot seems to of been a miserable day m8, gl anyways and i hope everything works out ok.

LOL... watch out for low curbs when parking with the intercooler stuck out that low .

Aren't the newage kits the same price as the classic, why buy one for a classic .

Tony.

The cars on your driveway look like a bit of a trend!
Clio Cup and a Silver Newage with front mount

You did well to keep the front fogs, the APS is the only one that has actually claimed it does, and that is tight!

Have you noticed much of a difference since fitted noticed much lag thats claimed with the front mount ?Looks better now the splitters on ive just sourced a splitter for mine as that also hangs lower than the bumper (classic)
