Default 99 STi Hesitation Still!! Pls help

Hi I have a standard V5 STI that I'm. having trouble with.

I've recenty rebuilt the engine due to bearing failure but have a problem with hesitation between 1000-3000 rpm The car feels lathargic and power delivery isnt smooth. But seems to go like the clappers after 3000 rpm

i have now come to a blank and have no idea why its happening , I have replace the following with brand new items:

MAF Sensor
Lambda Probe

I initially thought it could be the fuel so I filled it to the top with fresh optimax and octane booster. It did seem to run a little better but still have hesitation.

Does anyone have any clue what the hell could be going on? , Its starting to grind me down now

Thanks

You will need to book it in somewhere to get them to check the fueling and ECU fault codes etc

Did you use the same thickness headgaskets?

Hi , yes , everthing that has been replaced in genuine so everthing is how it should be as far as I'm aware... the hesitation really massivly jerky .. but you can feel that its not right. the way it picks up after 3000rpm is to severe to be discounted as turbo lag.

Would cleaning the the valve on the Throttle Body help cure my problem?
