Default Classic rear light question

Where are the brake lights on your classic?
I have a 99 UK Turbo. I changed the rear lights, cos they were a bit tatty. But I'm sure my brake lights were on the top part of the unit, the inner portion of the lights. Whereas my new ones, the brake lights are just the rear driving lights, but brighter.
I know I could just use my old wiring loom for the lights, but I just want to check if its my imagination, or if they are different.
thanks

Do your fog lights still work? If not maybe you have jap spec clusters as opposed to your old UK spec. Other than that I dont think there are any other types of cluster, but i may be wrong.

Didn't check that. Will do.

Must be my mistake, I just had the old lights hanfy, and notices they use Stop and tail bulbs, the double filament. So I must be wrong.
