Default Alternative FPR plumbing

Due to having more room to locate my new fuel pressure regulator behind the o/s headlamp than anywhere else and the newage oem regulator being at that corner, is there any reason I can't plumb it in as below, rather than the more traditional way ?

This is the existing layout (of the oem regulator - Click to enlarge)

The new regulator would take the boost feed from the manifold, as before. The feed to the regulator would come from 'B' (on the replacement part for the oem regulator) and the feed from the new regulator would go to 'C'.

Cheers,

Mark
