Boost is slightly backing off

Boost is slightly backing off
Hi folks, I have noticed that my MY99 full de-cat with prodrive EC U is backing off a bit under full boost. It initially boosts then around 3500rpm it eases off a touch; it then after a little flat spot boosts again to the red line. When it happens the boost gauge drops right back for a second and then goes back to full boost.
I haven't had the car that long, to be honest, but the only thing I can compare it with is my previous MY00 full de-cat and custom TEk re-map done at TSL. It definately isn't as fast as my previous car (but I guess it shouldn't be as the Prodrive re-map is a lot more conservative I guess).
I would appreciate any advice you experienced tuners have.
