Driving to work this morning and decided to boot it a bit on the motorway and suddenly massive loss of power and a massive whoosh noise. I immediately knew it was an air leak (on a big scale) but I was shocked when I popped the bonnet that the intercooler connecting pipe to the turbo (my93) had torn in half. This is only running 1.2 bar

Is there an uprated pipe available or is now a good time to go fmic?

 

the STi TMIC came with a samco style pipe.. but otherwise no alternative that I am aware of..

tuning a car on friday which did have an sti tmic phase 1 on it but now an sti4, will ask what he did with the other tmic..
