Worth it or not?

Getting a decat for the impreza 1999 wagon, can I expect a big noise increase and similar power increase, I read the searches they all seem to be items for sale though,

Yes and about 15-20bhp depending on which downpipe you get.

Main thing I remember noticing was the spool up of the turbo was quite auidible (sp)
