Dump Valve Operating correctly?
I have just fitted a second hand Bailey Dump Valve (atmospheric one) and on idle it stays open, I guess this is right? When you add full throttle it closes up but on partial throttle or when you apply gentle throttle it doesn't want to close. Obviously I have only noticed this with the bonnet up, put it does seem very quiet unless you are really giving it some!
Anyone have any experience with this? Have I heard right that Bailey DV are servicable?
Thanks Jamie

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep an eye on it not sure if my car likes running with it may revert back to a recirc one. Does anyone know if you can get a dump valve that makes a wastegate chatter noise like rally cars? I heard a Scooby the other day that sounded sweet but I couldn't stop him to ask!
cheers Jamie
