Default Fitting back box

was going to change my back box tonight for a tsl gp n on my 2002 bug eye

when i got under the car i noticed that there is a gasket between the backbox flange and the other bit the other side.

Do most people change this gasket?

also is it nut and bolted or a fixed stud and nut for the fixings?

it's a nut and bolt IIRC and you should be ok with gasket but keep an eye on it for a while just in case.

just take a look at the gasket when u take the old one off, if its in one piece then it should be ok, if not get some instant gasket paste to fill any gaps
