Default induction kit?

my 1993 wrx import is totally standard performance wise as it sits apart from a fully decated hks supper dragger exhaust and walbro 255, im just saving for the ecu and fpr then the injectors will go in too.

my question is do you think it is safe to use the powertek metal fin induction kit (blitz style) as the car sits? bearing in mind that its running standard boost, the maf will be new and i have a afr gauge.

thanks

I'm running an apexi IK on a car with similar spec to you and it's fine BUT if you are saving for the new ecu etc i wouldn't bother put the money towards the new stuff.

Stick with the O/E panel filter. You will NOT gain any power with the change you propose and will breath hotter enine bay air.
Why do you think you need an FPR?
