I have to give Rob all the credit for this. I followed in his foot steps and must say this upgrade is fantastic! My car idles smooth like never before and feels like it wants to rev easier than with the older style coil pack, and most importantly no more hesitation under boost! Thought I would post this up as I use this site frequently with troubleshooting and random information regarding the ej20g's.

Just the thread I was looking for. Bump.

My car is idling like **** and stalling out on 2000 km old sparkplugs. Checked the MAF and and the fuel injectors, both fine. Probably my old coilpacks breaking or fouled plugs.

Has anyone else done this conversion? What did you set your gap to? I'm at 0.73mm.

I am running .030" gap on standard copper ngk plugs. There is only one other car that I know of running this setup.
