Looking at getting the final piece of my exhaust system and there seems to be too schools of though either go for the likes of an open mouth downpipe or on the flip side a twin dump downpipe like the scoobymania exhaust which looks like it put a splitter up the wastegate.

you're only going to know for sure with back2bak tests but logic would say that you do not want wastegate gasses causing turbulence with turbine exhaust gases therefore disrupting flow and so a divorced ie twin dump pipe would be the better choice.

The majority of people run a open mouth dpipe with no apparent problem so I would say practically there is little to choose between them.

I first had Twin Dump and had very unstable boost control, I now use H&S open neck with great results.
