Simple Boost Gauge Fitting
Hi All,
I am after a simple to fit boost gauge in PSI. I have searched the forum and found lots of threads on passing the tube through etc. Its the electrics that concern me. Any simple to fit kits out there ??

If you get a pressure fed gauge you will only need to tee into one of the vacuum pipes on the inlet manifold. There is an existing hole in the bulkhead you can pass the tube through. The only electrics on this type of gauge is for the backlight. All you need to do is find an ignition live (light is always on when ignition is on, easy) or a live wire from the lighting circuit, i.e the fog light switch. This is slightly more difficult, but its only a matter of finding the correct wire with a multimeter, then the backlight will only illuminate when the lights are on. Installing a boost gauge really isn't that difficult. Have a go..
