I've got an impreza wrx import (uk spec) and want a new exhaust that sounds the b@ll@cks. Do I need a full system or would a back box work ? The car is still in warranty, would this affect it. Also if I wanted a re-map in the future what exhaust would be best ?

A nice full ninja system with a de-cat, sound awesome IMO.
Your car will either be an import, or uk spec, both will have the same system.

To retain your warranty, it's best to go for the Subaru approved Prodrive back box (also called WR Sport when bought from a dealer). It will give the car a nice burble, but not too loud. If you want real noise, then go for a Blitz or TSL group N, but ask your dealer about warranty first. If you are wanting to remap then it's best to change more sections, but you can kiss your warranty goodbye.
The Prodrive Performance Pack is the usual way of remapping without losing the warranty, but if yours is a Euro import, then they won't let you do this.
Powerstation do various packages and supply their own warranty, but they are a fair way from Barrow. Have a look at the website for ideas anyway.
