Default PPP, how loud?

Had an offer of PPP at my local dealer for £995 fitted. Good price I think. I like the idea of the extra power, but how loud? Totally standard at the moment. If I trundle around below 3000 rpm (for the wife), any real difference in noise level?

On a WRX? You'll get a bit of a burble at idle, and a slighly throatier noise on the move, nothing that intrudes too much into the cabin though.

It's difinitely a bit noisier from the outside, but inside the car it's pretty quiet, especially when it's just being driven normally.

MY01 to 05 is on the offer, I assume for existing customers, although I'm not 100% on this until I speak to them. You will need to come up to Scotland though if you are down South!

Thanks for all the advice. I might be a few pounds lighter soon! One other question; my WRX 01 Wagon (totally standard) is going on for 56k miles with a FSSH and I intend to keep it for at least another 2-3 years. Still worth it?
