Default Dump valve not dumping

I think thats the problem anyway

When accelerating and then lifting off the engine seems to carry on for a second or two, and no audible noise is made from the dump valve. If you rev freely then it dumps just seems to be in gear the problem occurs.

Does this sound like the dv is the culprit?
