Nice engine bay shot in the second set of photos. Almost looks like a top mount intercooler until you trace the pipes. I guess it's the air filter? So the bonnet scoop is useful for something again.

There doesn't seem to be any attempt to take hot air away from the back of the intercooler like there has been in the past. From the back of the fans it just enters the engine bay and leaves thro the two new side exits without any ducts to direct it. If the air filter's getting cold air from the scoop I guess thats less important.

Still I'm surprised, compare and contrast with all the carbon ductwork on the underneath of the focus and C4 bonnets. Perhaps there's more carbon duct work removed to make aesthetic pickies for the press launch?
