Default TD05 installation

I recently got my hands on a good condition TD05 turbo and a Z4 ecu, ready for convert my TD04 Wagon, as this turbo is second hand what do i need to do to it before installing it?, cleaning etc, obviously there could be objects inside it that i wouldnt want getting into the engine, it is supposed to be a god runner so shouldnt meed any major work done to it, any help or suggestions greatly appreciated thanks

I'd check the ammount of play side to side on the shaft from the exhaust side, there will be some but should be minimal, also if there are no signs of oil contamination on either side of the turbo then I'd guess that all the seals and bearings are ok. If the inlet side has been left open during shipping I would also try to clean it as anything in the inlet will find its way into the engine !!. I'm not sure on the oil and water pipes on the tdo4 to td05 swap as Ive only done a vf to td series and the oil lines were very different.

I'm sure somebody will be along to soon to help out on that one.
