Default FMIC and STD Air Box

If i was to fit a FMIC and redo the piping so i retain the std airbox would i still need a ajustment to the Map? The Maf would not be touched.

2003 Impreza WRX

IMO, yes you would still need a remap to take full advantage of your new setup.

Although your airbox/MAF will not be touched, flow rates/charge temps will be different. As a minimum I’d have the car checked to make sure it is running as it should (AFR/det). A remap would certainly help to make the most out of the mods, and minimise lag etc…
