Gaskets, not the most interesting, but essential
Hi All
Just about to replace uppipe, header and turbo.
The above came complete, with gaskets.
???? Should you use any type of gasket sealent or leave them dry.

IMHO:
Never put paste on any gasket before the turbo. A fragment that might break free hitting the turbine blade at 50,000 rpm will do considerable damage. I would use OEM gaskets, get the surfaces clean and bolt them up very evenly, bit at a time.
Paste on any gasket after the turbo is fine, but if you have a cat in the down pipe I would be worried a bit.
