Help with knocking exhaust
Fitted an exhaust today and now got a rattle
Old System
Downpipe = 3" Decat Group A Downpipe (2.5" @ Flange to centre section)
Centre Section = Standard Cat and Resonator 2.5"
Backbox = Standard STi Backbox
NEW System
Downpipe = 3" Decat Group A Downpipe (2.5" @ Flange to centre section) - KEPT THE SAME
Centre Section = 3" Slip pipe with very short taper to 2.5" @ Flange
Backbox = 3" Pipe with Round STi style rolled lip
Fitting
Only problem was the clearance between the backbox entry pipe (now larger) and one of the bolts on the large R180 diff is only about 5mm so touches when on idle and turning off (vibration) so I have some adjustment to do there to get perfect.
Anyone had the same problem and how did you fix it?
Cheers, Ricky.
