I've had mine in my 03 sti for 4 years and about to transplant it into my new sti Prodrive! Had no problems, idle etc. Doesn't add any noise (unless you remove the comedy baffle) but for something that can perform out of the box for power just slipped into your OEM filter box as well as CAI why bother. If you want the 'pose' and induction noise of a CAI I would recommend getting the fueling checked and keep away from deep water! Say no more.

hey mate, I too use to have a ITG panel filter, but theres loads of SN'ers here who had problems with it causing issues with their MAF sensors.(on classics anyway)

if I was you i'd swap it for an sti panel filter.
