power steering fluid leak?? pics
i have noticed a leak under the power steering bottle cant be sure where its coming from but its gathered all round that area and a bit to the right behind the belts.
some of its conjealed and some is wet ,
anyone had this / whats the most likely cause , replace pipes / clips ?

Hi Mate
This is real common . There is an o ring under the power steering reservois which normally needs replacing . They only cost around £1 from Subaru dealer . Also when fitting a new o ring you can also seal it up using a bit of silicone just to make sure. Easy job just messy when you remove the reservois pot. Just have a load of old rags to hand.

Nice one! I just noticed today mine is exactly the same.

Sorry for digging up an old post, but...
my brother had the same problem, so did as advised above. However, it's still leaking, but from the cap. Seems a bit strange, should there be that much pressure in the resevoir? Anyone alse had this who can help, or is it a case of replacing the resevoir?

the reservoir is basically an aluminium can. there should be no pressure there. the oil would come out of the cap if it was overfilled as it tends to rise as it gets hot.
