Ive just fitted a decat downpipe (H&S) and a prodrive decat centre.
The up pipe is standard.

MY05 WRX

On my way to get remaped after about 160 miles on the motorway the cel light came on (due to no cats expt in the up pipe)

During the mapping the light went off because the ecu is reset when uploading the new map

Again on the way home the cel light came on again after about 150 miles on the motorway.

Ive read some posts about this and putting a resistor in a connector under the bonnet seems to be the answer but only if you have a decat up pipe??

My problem I assume will be with the sensor in the decat centre pipe??
There is a cel fix on ebay that spaces the sensor away from the exhaust, will this help??

also when I fit this will the light just go out??
