Saw this on Ebay tonight and was led to believe that newage PPP ECU boxes had another code on them beginning with IP?

Using marker pen ID seems a little casual for marking an expensive bit of kit and opens them up to being "misrepresented".
Are Prodrive now using decent labels on 06> cars now?

the ppP ecu I sold from MY03WRX not so long ago was exactly the same. marked with permanenty marked if that helps at all,


it was the same code as well 6C and the lond number he quotes in the add was the same as mine.

Seem to remember that my one had pink writing on, but does beg the question how you would get one, thought that they all were done on an exchange basis?

I was under the impression that they all had IP****** numbers written on them also.....my 03 WRX PPP certainly does.
