I was sold this and was told it was a hayward and scott jobbie.

The nice people at H&S have not seen it but have told me over the phone they dont think its theres as they stopped doing them with a wastegate baffle in "years ago" and mine doesnt look very old at all.

Can anyone confirm or deny this . . . . . ?

Looks like a H&S from the pics on their website.
Photoshop the wastegate baffle out and ask em again, it might be confusing them

 

Cheers guys, Like I said H&S have not seen it they just said they have not made one with a baffle for years and with it looking fairly new they didnt think it could be one of there's.

But if you guys say it is

And the baffle doesnt fit my turbo . . . . but easily fixed

 

i bought a h&s downpipe from ebay which looked abit nasty when i got there they had shot blasted it for me and looked better than new, but genrely the h&s is top quality which lasts a good while

 

if you dont mind me asking where did you get that down pipe from?
Ebay or of here? also did it come heat wrapped?

Deffo H+S. Looks identical condition-wise to the one on my car which was made by them 5 years ago

Did they say why they stopped making them with the baffle (I asked them to fit one to mine when I got it)

 

I bought it of here. . . . No . . . it wasnt heat wrapped. But it is now
