I have a 2003 MY with PPP on it only recently bought it after having two classic shapes in the past.

Is it normal for the idle to be halfway between 0 and 1000 revs on the clock. Someone said that this actually equates to 750 RPM not 500 RPM as the rev counter starts at 500? Is this true for the 2003 model aswell.

Any ideas?

dont know about rev counter starting at 500,but my 53 reg sits about half way on rev counter with air con off and then is just below 1000 with it on so would think it is normal mate
