Default Turbo heat shield

Hi Folks.
Had the downpipe/cat and centre section changed for MOT, and replaced with afterburner and ninja. MOT place couldn't refit the heatshield as there are no brackets on the new pipe. Its the shield that goes from the bonnet to the turbo. Do you think it will be a problem to leave it off???

The turbo heatshield wont fit over the wideneck downpipe, the trick is to cut the heatshield in two pieces and then fit the top piece so you dont get your IC heatsoaked when stationary in traffic in the summer time

the downpipe below the turbo should then be wrapped with heatwrap

thats how ive done it on mine

hope that helps
