Unhappy

I'm having a major problem with condensation. I find myself having to hammy the inside of the windows in the morning & wring it out about 3 times. I think it's coming from the boot as the underside of the bootlid is also covered & the rear seats are soaking.

Has anyone else had this problem & sorted it?? Anyone got any ideas what it might be as the seals look okay?? I've been told that there are plugs somewhere in the boot that might be missing - Any ideas???

I wanna get this sorted as quickly as possible before I start getting mould (which I really, really don't want).

Thanks

MAFFA

Cool

Maffa,
maybe a stupid question, but are you using the recirc. function on the ventilation controls? Just a quick thought.

It is not uncommon for the sealant around the rear lights to let water in to the boot. If you look underneath in the spare wheel well you could find a large puddle! Think they fix it by squirting lots of that silicone stuff around the back of the light clusters.

No i'm not using the recirc. I know what you mean though as it does steam up if you use that.

Boost - Thanks m8 that'll give me something to look into.

The black mastic sticky stuff around the rear light clusters is actually a subaru part believe it or not.You could get them from a dealer or do as i did and get exactly the same stuff from ford for a fiesta, its cheaper, it comes on a paper backing, just take out your rear clusters, clean the area up and reseal.
