Default Manual Boost controller

Hi,

How do these manual controllers work? is it that you install them on the actuator hose and this then allows you to manually set the boost? the ecu will continue to try and operate the standard boost solenoid but it wont take any affect as the manul controller is set higher ?

Any info appreciated

Cheers

Dave

you take vac hoses of the stanard one and connect them to the new one and leave the plug on the stanard one or it will put the car into crawl mode don't do this unless you have a boost gauge and don't try to turn it up to much as you will kill it..

Just understanding stuff, I haven't actually got one.

So you then manually set the pressure and the std solenoid becomes redundent. Well except that it still needs to be connected into the loom.

interesting.
