Question 1/4 mile Drag,

Whats the best wheel size , For faster times 17" or 18" ?? Will it make any difference ???

Im only a novice so dont take this as gospel and im sure someone with more knowledge will post.

I would say the 17" would be better as they will be lighter and also you can run a higher profile tyre which should grip better.

The 18's will weigh more, and have more inertia to accellerate.
You will note Forrest runs 15's I think!
Dinky size brakes but so what with a drag race?

Also, I think you will find the compound choice for 15/16's is much better than for 17/18's but that is changing in 2007.
